Join this free training to learn how to support and protect your Alameda neighbors and local school community.
During the training you will:
- Be introduced to school foot patrols and how they keep school communities safe
- Learn how to identify, respond, record, and report ICE activity
- Connect with others who are organizing in Alameda.
This event is open to all Alameda residents; especially parents and caregivers.
Wheelchair accessible, Spanish interpreters by request, and child care provided.

- You have the right to remain silent. Don’t answer any questions. You can say, “I wish to remain silent.”
- Do not open your door. To enter your home, ICE must have a warrant signed by a judge. You can say, “I do not give you permission to enter my home.”
- You have the right to speak to a lawyer. You can say, “I need to speak to my lawyer.”
- Do not sign anything without first speaking to a lawyer.
ACILEP Hotline
Use SALUTE when calling the hotline:
- Size/Strength — How many officers? How many vehicles?
- Actions/Activity — What are they doing?
- Location — Where are they?
- Uniform — What are they wearing?
- Time/Date
- Equipment — Do they have batons, guns, vests?

If you see (or suspect) ICE activity, call the Alameda County Immigration Legal Education Partnership (ACILEP) rapid response hotline. ACILEP verifies and corroborates ICE activity and provides updates to the community.
